Welcome to Building Blocks of Science 3D, a hands-on, phenomena-based science program for grades K–5.

Program Overview
With a crowded schedule and high stakes reading and math goals, fitting science into the day can feel like another hurdle to clear.
With Building Blocks of Science 3D, you can deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in a little as 30 minutes.

Each All-Inclusive Grades K–5 Unit Kit Includes:

Hands-on materials kit of choice (enough for 24 students K–2; 30 students 3–5):
- 1-Use Kit (with enough materials to teach one class one time)
- 3-Use Kit (with enough materials to teach one class three times)
Kits are easily refurbished! Building Blocks of Science 3D refurbishment sets contain all the items used while teaching the unit.

Common questions about Living Materials cards:
How do I redeem living materials cards?
Your living materials sheets will be in a clear shipping envelope adhered to the side of the green tub of the kit (if new) or the side of a brown Carolina box (if a refurbishment).

Remember to keep the additional sheets/sheet sets if you’ve purchased a 3-use kit or refurbishment.
I can’t find my living materials card. What do I do?
Call customer service at 800.334.5551 with your order number. They will look up the living materials control number for your specific order.
How do I care for the living materials in the unit?
Care guide information for units that have living materials can be found in Appendix D of the teacher’s guide. If you are using the digital teacher’s guide, this information can be found under the Unit Overview Tab → Unit Resources → Teacher Resources → Appendix D: Live Organism Care Guide Downloadable PDF.
